It was the warmest in southern Norway, in Western and Eastern Norway (2 to 3.7 degrees above normal). Precipitation for the whole country was about 90 percent of normal. It was driest in Trøndelag and northern Norway, and wettest in eastern Norway. Air temperature
The temperature for the fall season was 2 degrees 2ememain above normal for the entire country. 2ememain Autumn was particularly mild in eastern, western and Agder. While college got the 2nd warmest autumn season in a series that goes back to 1900 (2.5 degrees above normal), got Vestlandet the 3rd warmest (2.6 degrees above normal) and the Eastern region the 4th warmest. 2ememain Eastern Norway was also the region which was relatively warmest with 2.7 degrees above normal. Gran (Oppland) was the relatively warmest station with 3.7 degrees above normal.
The hottest stations were: Kvitsoy - Nordbø (Kvitsøy, Rogaland), 11.6 degrees (2.4 degrees above normal) Røvær (Haugesund, Rogaland), 11.5 degrees (no normal yet) Slaatteroy 2ememain guy (Bømlo, Hordaland) 11.5 degrees (2.4 degrees above normal) Lindesnes lighthouse (Lindesnes, Vest-Agder), 11.4 degrees (2.2 degrees above normal)
The coldest stations were: Karasjok - Markannjarga (Karasjok, Finnmark) -2.3 degrees (0.5 degrees below normal) Kautokeino (Finnmark), -2.1 degrees (on normal) Suolovuopmi-Lulit (Kautokeino, Finnmark) -2.0 degrees (0.4 degrees above normal)
Highest maximum temperature was 24.8 degrees, measured on September 7 at Vaernes and Kvithamar (Stjørdal, Nord-Trøndelag). Lowest minimum temperature was -28.8 degrees, and was measured at Karasjok - Markannjarga (Finnmark) November 13th. Precipitation
Precipitation in the fall season for the whole country was about 90 percent of normal. Driest was in Trøndelag and northern Norway, where Trondelag got his 6th driest autumn season of the series that goes back to 1900 (60 percent of normal). Parts of eastern Norway was wettest with up to 175 percent of normal, while the rest of the country had rainfall near normal.
The wettest stations were: Haukeland - Storevatn (Masfjorden, Hordaland), 1229 mm (no normal yet) Brekke (Gulen, Hordaland), 1118 mm (86 percent of normal) Tackle (Gulen, Sogn og Fjordane), 1098 mm ( 93 percent of normal)
The driest stations were: Folldal - Fredheim (Folldal, Hedmark), 43 mm (no normal yet) Oppdal - Sæter (Oppdal, Sor-Trondelag), 51 mm (28 percent of normal) Kvikne in Østerdal (Tynset, Hedmark), 56 mm (38 percent of normal)
