Magistrate Lorraine Samuels Monday in the Oudtshoorn Regional Court denied bail to the 25-year-old Guardner Govere who is facing 10 counts of manslaughter and one of illegal immigration.
Samuels joovideo said in her ruling that Govere charged with 11 serious complaints and that it is not in the interest of justice that bail to him to be granted. "The accused is a flight risk," said Samuels.
Govere, a Zimbabwean citizen, has indicated that he will plead not guilty to all the charges. Samuels says she refused bail because Govere's permit to be in South Africa has already expired joovideo in April, 2014.
