The US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) launched on Monday at 13:28 local time (19:28 CET) from Cape Canaveral in Florida probe MAVEN (Mars Atmosphere translet and Volatile Evolution), whose task is to study the upper atmosphere of Mars.
