Less is more. At least occasionally. Evernote, profit clicking of course, a beautiful thing, just wonderful. But it is becoming profit clicking more and more overloaded functions, and long lost simplicity profit clicking and speed. He, of course, very convenient to collect and store a variety of content, profit clicking doing business, etc. But sometimes you want simplicity. I want to simplify things, remove the excess, unused, leaving only the neobodimo, without which it is impossible. And it remains to be beautiful. I want to use simple tools for simple things.
Yes, I love minimalism. :) And Simplenote perfect in its simplicity and rapidity. "Small, but was removed." Compared with the "monster Evernote is particularly noticeable. Synchronization instant (say, after moving to a new site, they even specially slow sync, and then the history of each note greatly swelled - to press each key had time to create a new version of Notes on the server), pozherzhka Markdauna (very useful, in my opinion, it is the mobile device, but not only), quick search, the application (though mostly third-party developers) under most operating systems ...
Evernote is similar to long-term memory remembers everything (text, pictures, documents), but long-term memory is slow. Simplenote - short, fast memory, but it is somewhat limited (only remembers profit clicking the text).
A little digging on the internet I found a site Simple-for-ever, who is trying to do exactly what I need - to copy notes from Simplenote to Evernote. Notes in Evernote created as a non-editable (read only), because reverse sync yet. No automatic synchronization - need each time to go and press the Sync hands. But it's better than nothing. We can assume it's backup for Simplenote. The developers promise to do bidirectional synchronization in the future.
